Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc. Announces Staff Promotions

January 23, 2006

(SYRACUSE, NY) - The Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc. is proud to announce the following promotions:

Ken Dodge, O.T. has been promoted to Rehabilitation Manager and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of physical and occupational therapy as well as speech language pathology. Ken earned his degree in occupational therapy from Keuka College and previously served as a per visit occupational therapist with the agency.

Maria Giannino, R.N. who has been a member of the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York Inc.’s pediatric team for the past 13 years has been promoted to Nurse Educator. In her new capacity, Maria is responsible for orientation of new staff, competency testing and preceptors. She is a Syracuse resident who earned her BSN from Syracuse University.

Karen Grenga, R.N., has been promoted to Clinical Nurse Manager. She will be responsible for the delivery of quality and safe patient care as well as the supervision of nursing staff including scheduling, staff development, evaluation and caseload review. Karen earned her BSN from SUNY College of Technology and has been with the Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York, Inc. for 23 years, serving in a variety of different capacities.

The Visiting Nurse Association of Central New York delivers nursing services, medical social work, physical, occupational and speech therapy to over 1,000 patients in Onondaga County.
